Built in the I century A.D.,  the owner is unknown, but by the beautiful decorations and the  imposing structure, is almost certain that he was an aristocratic.
The Villa  had various  restorations, and once was buried by a flood, typical of the coast. 

Was back to life in the XX century, only got back to it's full splendor after the 1954  flood which partially buried again.

The following excavations, have made possible to bring back also the thermals bath, the ninfeo, the peristilio and the viridarium which in the middle built a bacin.
